The dealer I use, Darrell Waltrip Volvo of Franklin, Tennessee, stated that he has seen several of the 2000 S80s with similar problems. Some he has fixed, but some he cannot make right. These cars are loaded with so much technology that once you start doing patchwork like software upgrades, changing the O2 sensors, or changing out the throttle control modules, you wind up with something like Bill Gates Mellinium Edition systems software. It will never be reliable.
