I have had this happen twice so far in my 2000 C70 coupe. It is the blinker relay that needs to be replaced. It is located behind your hazard light switch (just below the radio). Take it to a dealer and they will just pop it out and pop a new one in. It's very simple and only takes a moment (and is under warranty).
