Thanks for the great write up, and yeah, my odo was out for a while. I would like to know the actual mileage, cause that's just the way I am, but of course, I am unwilling to pay to find that out from the dealer (at least for this car). I also agree that the cost for these OBD2 readers seems much higher than it should be and anything under a 100 bucks is probably worth considering, if it installs and operates in a straightforward manner. Also, need to consider what you want to do with it, I find it very convenient to scan when I want to at home or on road. You can always go to Auto Zone for a free scan and listen the the guy try to sell you the wrong poor quality parts for your problem. Thanks again.
