I've gone through 3 upper windshield moldings on my 97 850 turbo.... Everytime I seem to go past 110mph the thing gets lost on the freeway.... Up until now I've replaced the molding myself by clicking it in the without using any type of adhesive. This nect time I'm going to use a silicone adhesive after I prime the rubber with rubbing alchohol.... i've spoken to quite a few auto-glass repair men who've all said that the 850 has this problem in 1 out of every 50... Once sealed on with a bead of eurythane they never come off again... There is no structural need for the molding... The widow is waterproofed on the inside... The \molding is basically there to suppress wind noise at high speeds... Good luck... Eurythane is pretty expensive in itself... Silicone will probably work but if not well... the molding is $35 from the dealer and the labor is 40.... that's 70 bucks vs. 35 for the molding and 3 for the silicone... It's a 5 minute job... just make sure the air is dry and you dont drive the car for a few...
