It't still in the 'rumour' area, but a C40 convertible (probably not a coupe though) was mentioned in several articles in the automotive press here in europe as one of the new models being designed/built on the new P1x platform.

It should arrive quite a bit after the new S40/V50 and H30 though. I think they mentioned something like 2005 or so.
