I had the same problem initially. I finally used the DOS installation setup and shut down my AVG antivirus. Shutting down the antivirus is vital, even if you're just copying the VADIS DVD onto your hard drive for installation later. Also if the setup gives you a choice of years pick only you year. I don't think it will load more than one year.
The information you're looking for is on the installation disk, or on your hard drive if you copied the DVD onto your hard drive, at C:\...(wherever you put it)\VADIS\My Disk Mech\Info\vv13007(in my case for 2003)\ie\en\(and then a huge file of numbers starting with 00 and up). Copy (ctrl c) and Paste (ctrl v) the contents of ...\en\ into ...\vv(whatever the number is for 2005)\ie\en\ in info wherever the installation put it (on my computer it is in C:\ (near the top since it begins with i).
Good luck, jrip
