Quite correct, Charley. A bad wheel sensor will do that. But if the ABS module does generate and error due to a bad solder internally, the result is not always loss of the speedo.

It would be nice to get real codes from a generic code reader, at least be able to read the faults of the ABS module, but that is not going to happen.
