I am not sure what they mean by a "revised" engine but in both the 2.4T and T5 models, their engines have always had CVVT (on the exhaust side) incorporated in their respective engines. Furthermore, the turbocharged engines do have added features like lighter crankshafts, special exhaust valves (sodium filled), forged aluminum pistons, etc.)...
