Power Steering Pump Replacement Question 850 1995

Thank you for the response. Rack is "new", 2 years old and fluid was recently changed by Volvo garage due to a leaky return hose. I will try the stethoscope method to locate the noise.

When taking off the pump, where to unscrew the high pressure hose ? It looks like a nut next to the reservoir or pump. Is that the one to unscrew to disconnect high pressure hose ?
