The front brakes do not have shims. Usually, it is the rear brakes that make the noise, not the front.

If nothing changed after the front rotors were replaced regarding noise, it is the rears that you need to bother with. OEM for the rear are best. You could get anti-squeal paste and coat the back of the rear pads to get rid of the noise.
