Were there any marks to indicate that it ever had one? V70-XC70 2007

Thanks for the reply!

No, absolutely no marks indicating that a bar had even been installed. The key locations being the upper control arm tabs, since the grommet bracket on the bar would shield the aluminum mounting points on the subframe from nut/bolt scoring. I have owned the car from birth (190500 miles) and my exclusive use mechanic never mentioned needing to remove it. There was one time while in Canada my car was vandalized by filling the gas filler pipe with "Great Stuff" foam. The tank had to be removed for cleaning, but even that would not have required the bar to be removed.

To the point of Volvo removing it from the suspension design. I have not been able to find evidence of such. Puzzling.
