Try "The Volvo Performance Handbook" by Paul Grimshaw. It's available through ipd and worth every buck. Covers the 2XX/7XX/9XX as well as the 850 and 70 series. It's not a "how to" book - more of a "what to". Covers handling, braking, engine and transmission from a performance standpoint. Tells you where the greatest return on your money is and helps to set priorities when making mods.
