The popping noise on my car turned out to be worn ball joints and totally shot control arm bushings. Car rides a zillion times better with the new parts.....

If your tranny is struggling to go into reverse, your torque converter might be going and there is really nothing you can do about it other than replace the whole thing......new car time? Frieds kid has a nissan leaf.....awsome car for running around town and to and from work......no gas and with the lease payment it's almost like having a free car......my next car will be electric.......
