Sounds like you will have to replace the headlight unit unless you can get the cone back in place. The bulb should key into the back of the headlight unit. I forget if the tab is up or down, but it only fits one way.

Other than burning out quickly they are not bad lights. Ours seem to drift lower and need to be readjusted every few years.
