It sounds like you have the same problem that I have. I got my 95 854 in January. The odometer/trip odometer are clicking away in kilometers while the trip computer is doing fine in miles. I've been told to have the dealer resent the instrument cluster using the volvo scan tool, but 2 dealerships around here don't know how to do it. They think that I should just learn to live in kilometers unless I want to pay the $1000 that they anticipate it will cost to replace the instrument cluster. I'm still looking for a local speedometer/odometer expert who can fix it (I don't think I'm handy enough to pull the instrument cluster out on my own). I'm in San Diego if you find any solutions let me know. In the meantime kilometers x 0.6 = miles. You may have fewer miles on your car than you think....
