There's an idea. If I pick the right lottery number I don't need to worry about quirky door locks any more. I'll be riding in the back of someone's limo :) (Won't happen though as I'm too cheap to buy lottery tickets.)

Thanks, all, for the responses. Unless it gets quite a bit worse I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I was just curious as to what might cause something like that. I used to think it was something with my wife's cell phone. But I don't know....
