ABS/ Skid Control System Service required' What does this entail ? S80 2005

First, no one has done the brakes, struts, rotors, a drive axle, etc., right ? If so start looking there. We had an issue with a loose sensor that caused all kinds of problems.

Bentley's gives a simple way to check the sensors to see that they are working. We have a V70 so I'm not sure the location is correct for a sedan. The front sensors have a connector behind the strut towers and the rears have connectors under the carpet beneath the rear seat. The resistance should measure the same for each wheel sensor. If you find one that is significantly different, that one is suspect. Replace it and see if the light goes out.

If they all measure the same I think a trip to the dealer or someone with a scanner is in your future.

Greg
