Actually, there is no keyhole in my tailgate. I pulled the rubber cover off the switch in the handle and it seems to work fine. It makes a sound when I push it, and then there is an echo of sorts inside the tailgate that sounds like whatever moved with the first activation moved back. But the tailgate will not open during any part of that cycle.

I don't mean to be difficult but there are no valet buttons on my center console. I've paged through the 6 or 8 options on the screen that set the approach and home safe lights and others. Again, nothing appears to be related to valet or the tailgate.

For the record, nothing happens when I hit the "trunk" button on either of my two keys.
