"If you look at the fine print in the Volvo maintenance guide, the timing belt needs to be changed at 60K intervals for ALL years, including the new engines, after the first belt replacement."

That's a new revelation. How many of us follow the 60K interval after the first TBelt change? I haven't been; replaced belt and tensioner & idle pulleys at 100K (with water pump) and 200K on our 2000 V70 SE.
