more woes for my T5 850 1997

The first problem can be a solenoid problem, I used the Valvoline High Mileage Red bottle on a turbo that kept doing the same thing and it eventually went away. It probably clean some of the contacts internally.

The lock of UMP can be caused by leaks at the turbo connections and other vacuum leaks. The fuel pressure regulator can also caused some strange problems. If you still have the original, I will suggest changing it.
