ABS light on 850 1995

Did you ever get the ABS/Wheel sensor issue resolved. I have a similar problem - Get ABS light occasionally and code p0500 (speed sensor) with check engine light. Port A2 shows code 232 and car goes into limp home mode and either will not shift out of 1st gear, or will start in Drive gear instead of 1st. Pressing the Winter mode button allows driving and shifting normally.
