Is this normal? S40-V40 2000

greetings, volvomaniacs, from new mexico:

I just checked the oil in my S40 (1200 miles) and it smells a little more of gasoline than I expected. Is it because of the turbo, or does my baby need to go to the emergency room? Maybe some of you can smell your oil (oh boy!) and tell me yours is just like mine...
