Volvo tie rods are TRW - no need for immediate wheel alignment? 850 1995

You can minimize the impact on the alignment by marking the threads/counting the turns when replacing tie rods, but in all likelihood an alignment would still be a good idea (especially if it has had an alignment previously that may have made some adjustment for wear on the control arm/tie rods/wheel bearing). You can probably get by for a while, but in the long run the alignment costs less than a tire, and you might end up needing to replace two...
