p1633 V70-XC70

The tach gets its input from the cam position sensor, check the connector there.

A bad ground is more likely to cause problems. If the battery gets less than 11V, the newer cars will have computer failures, but 2000 should not have the same problem as 2001+.

With the other issues, 'repairing' the tranny is not a starter.

It is hard to sell with the current problems, but like my 1995, dropping the tranny is difficult to cost justify.
