Re: Fog light brackets S70 98

I had the same problem. Simple 5 minute solution. Get a wrench, unplug the harness from the fog light and take the 3 (well since you bent them, now 2 since the bolt closest to the ground got torn off) bolts off and put the foglight in a vice and bend it back to normal. I suggest getting a socket wrench with some sort of extention, it'll make things a lot easier. While you're down there, you might wanna adjust the foglights and turn the leveling knob(I forget which way) to point them upwards a bit so they're more effective.

If you don't want them perfectly straight, what I did on occasion was (very simple 5 second procedure) pull on the bottom bracket closet to the ground. You might flex the bumper a bit (yes you need to pull that hard or else they'll point downwards a bit, but don't pull TOO hard) but just keep on tugging on the bottom bracket until the fog lights are pointed normally. (Un)Fortunatly I got into a minor car accident which involved the replacement of my front bumper and fog lights (at the other persons cost) but now I am very careful with the curbs, dips, steep driveways, anything that will bend these suckers.

Anyhow- Good luck.
