Yes, makes a heck of a noise. Fills the whole cabin. Don't think it was a pad on the rotor, since dancing on the brake pedal changed nothing. I did pull on the emergency and release it when we were stopped, but the noise resumed, though not as intense, when we resumed speed, then went away. Did nothing the second time it happened after a day of driving in the city and it went away then too and has not come back again.

Thanks for the info. I'll pull the back wheels and look at the parking brakes.
