Hate to to tell you but it sounds like the beginning of the dreaded "shift flare" issue. If it gets worse, you might try a tranny flush & a B4 servo cover available from IPD.
My wife`s `03 had this problem & unfortunately, the above "remedies" didn`t work after 3 months so had to retire the car.
