Motot mounts how hard to install V50

Ha! You are right, that one looks so easy that if I don't do it, I should kick my lazy butt. I've had this weird thing happening. I'm into my 60's and for some I have less trust in my turning-wrench ability. If I have someone with me to talk and think about the job....I am fine. Need to call the guy that we used to work on our Jags together.

I called around for pricing. The rear one that I can't see from the engine bay is @$600 to replace. The easy one is a bit over $100. They had to mean labor because the mount itself is more than $100.

There are a total of 4 mounts and to replace all 4 is over $1200.

Under torque, the engine rocks from to back and I am wondering if there is a trans mount?

I once had a Jag that I drove 10 years with a weak trans mount. The only time you would notice would be over big hard bumps, the trans would bang the chassis.

If I install the right front mount I need to find a flat spot to park. I am not sure that jacking the engine on my sloping driveway would take the weight off the engine in a correct way.

In the past 4 decades I think I've only had to replace 1 motor mount and that was on the 95 Caddie DeVille. The last one I did was in the 1960's on a 1963 P544.
