Radiator replace but also coolant brand change 850 1997

A pint of distilled water added will drop your freezing point from -40F to -32F or so. Nothing to worry about in your climate.

It is too cold to 'test' the AC and see if it is working properly. If the AC is switched on and there is pressure in the system, when you start the engine the compressor should engage for a second as the system self tests. A leak in the condenser is not fun and will result in zero pressure very quickly.

It is 'possible' for the ATF to be blown forward, or even have a hairline crack in the radiator allowing for some seepage. There is almost no pressure in the ATF cooling system. You need to watch it for a few days, check the pavement under the car after a 'hot' run.
