it doesnt look/smell like the coolant dumped into the cabin. i was going to fill up the coolant and oil and try to get it home, which is ten miles. I imagine this is a bad idea, but I will stop to fill-up the coolant as needed.

I would hate to give up this old volvo. Hoping I can replace the head gasket. Is it possible the water pump failed, as it is old...but that wouldn't explain the oil loss
