If you turn the vent selector to auto and the blower speed to auto and then turn the engine on, do you get yellow blinking lights on the AC and recirc switches? If you do then one of the dampers is not working.

If your lights stay green, it might be the ECC unit itself.

Is there hot air on both sides of the cabin, or just one side? There are separate damper motors for the driver and passenger.
