Thanks, alschnertz. I think you're probably right re: it's electrical. I do hear the fuel pump cycle after she dies. Life and work got in the way for the last many days, but I'm hoping to have time to work on this this weekend. I'll reply with what I've found.

Thanks again. If not for this community, I'm certain I would have had to jettison "the little S40 that could" a long time ago.
