KlausC,
In a nutshell, yes it would be quicker, but I'm just that cheap, and I have the ability to take the DEM and diagnose what is wrong with it and fix it for far cheaper than what it will cost me to send it to XeModeX.
From the testing I've done the past two days, what has happened to the DEM is that it will supply voltage to the pump, but not enough ass, i.e. current to run it, thus it does nothing.
This should be a simple fix, but if I can't diagnosis it within a day, then off to Xemodex it will go because I just the car done.
Just this afternoon I finally stopped dicking around with the exhaust hub of the CVVT and just finally replaced it. Before doing so I checked the play on the original one and it was just awful, both radially and axially. The new one, nothing, same as the intake. Glad to finally put that PITA to bed.
Matt
