Spoke too soon. It's back to being touchy again. Although working more frequently than it did. I'll see about checking that connection from the cam position sensor. I have heard that the ABS system can mess with it, too, but I don't know that for sure.
In the event that the tach itself needs replacing, is it fairly easy to do? I know that getting the cluster out isn't a big deal, but not sure about replacing the actual gauges individually. The clock drifts pretty severely, too, so I'm thinking about picking up a cluster from a junkyard and swapping out both the clock and the tach. Thoughts?
