You're right of course. This was a very good response. Excellent advice from both of you.

I didn't buy the car because it was the first year of production, 4C suspension (which scares me) and some notable body work.

Questions...please.

How does the 3.2 i6 compare with i5.
Does it have the same PCV problems and is it just as problematic.
There's no timing belt but serpentine looks tough.

Mechanics told me the i6 was the greatest volvo engine and then he said the i5 was better (oil consumption?). Then told me he had an i5 for sale....

The car had water in the trunk.

I'm stuck on Volvo and Volvo's stuck on me....when it comes to FWD I always listen to the "Oracle of Minnesota'
