well that was quick.

took off the volt regulator (much easier the 2nd time...). One of the brushes completely broke off. How I'm not sure, but it's was only making a connection with one of them.

I've contacted the seller, hopefully they'll be able to help me. The fact I'm going to be without my car for who knows how much longer is only a minor set-back (compared to having to replace the alternator itself...bot in cost and time).

Oh well, not like I was working this week much anyways. :)

1985 245. 246K Gone..but not forgotten. Sold in 2013, found 2018! Still running on the road. Of course. 1993 Volvo 850 soon to be gone
