I didn't try to repair the locks as outlined in this video; I replaced all four door locks, as all were showing intermittent failure as the outside temperature increased. (On my 2000 V70 SE).

However, it was good to understand the reasons for V70/S70 door lock failure with rising ambient temperatures.
