Hi,
You need to affirm what you are calling a loose feeling front end. Describe how you are obtaining the feeling through what senses.
I can think my cars are quiet because I have bad hearing and my hearing aids don’t give me all the right sounds or I’m just deaf. Without hearings aids I barely hear sounds above 5,000 hertz. Totally dead at 8,000 HZ.
You might have a power steering pump that has a stuck pressure regulator valve inside. Too much pressure at speeds above parking the car will feel very light in a sense of no feed back in the steering wheel. You don’t realize that it should have almost the same resistance as parking the car.
It would make for an unnerving feel of control.
The mileage stated appears to be very low to me, unless the car has been damaged in some way or another.
If the car is not holding the direction that you are wanting to steer into accurately, then it’s an alignment problem, not any worn parts that you just replaced.
If the back ends wheels is not truly straight with the tracking alignment of the front end, then the car may feel like the back end is try to pass or go around you.
This is noticed while doing all of those things you mentioned in your post.
Jeeps suffer this phenomenon quite often. They are not tanks or boats.
If you got the car used it may have been run into a short depth ditch that has twisted the body some.
This can be but cause no exterior damage to warrant a report on the work.
CarFax’s will only work “if reported.”
It’s their advertised disclaimer hidden subliminally in the wordings.
A cute cartoon character, not a real person, that can be caught deceiving by body language of the eyes or voice tones.
You may need the car placed on a frame straighter to measure it out and they can pulled it back into factory specifications.
Start with the small things first like a power steering pressure test. Maybe the fluid is really dirty and trash is in there.
