I agree that it is the conditions. I think Yuichi should find an empty parking lot that is icy and snow covered and get the feel of how his car handles. I do this every year to remind myself how to drive on snow and ice. Results in poor conditions are determined half by the character of the car and half by the character of the driving. Okay maybe the measures aren't scientific, but you know what I mean.
