I can reply to two parts of your question. Snow tires - I have experience with Nokian NRW's, and Bridgestone Blizzaks - both excellent tires. As far as dealerships in Chicago, I have experience with several. Both of my cars are exclusively serviced by Shepherd Motorcars in Oak Park (on Madison St., just west of Austin Blvd.) I wouldn't consider any other. Some customers come from out of state for their service.
