Sin,
there are no noises correlated with boost - at least I'm not able to hear them.

The detection of knock or pre-detonation would be done by the knock sensor.
If so, is there a way to find out if it does detect knock or pre-detonation?

What could I do with the wastegate actuator rod length? As far as I understood things, it just regulates the max pressure. What could be the effect if I would reduce it's lenght by one rpm and thereby increase boost pressure a little.

An other thing I have not done is reading error codes from the engine management (because I have not seen any lambda or wharever signs flashing).
Bit I will do it on the weekend.

Many many questions.
