Perry,

Does this new system produce the heat? It sounds like you stuck a thermometer in the CD changer which would measure the heat produced by the CD changer, as well as any heat produced by the Volvo. In other words, do you have any evidence that this problem existed before you changed the radio equipment? I would think that the radio equipment is just as suspect as the Volvo.
