engine stall / no start / codes available 850 1993

Hello Tony,
thanks a bunch for your help.
I drove the car again yesterday after clearing all codes. It died again, code was 3-1-4 camshaft position sensor. Cleared the codes and tried to fire it up, cranks fine but no start. Again code 3-1-4 is set.
According to my Volvo dealer's parts guy these sensors fail quite commonly.
So I ordered the new sensor and will get it on friday.
My first guess was the RPM sensor also (I had these go bad on other cars), but now it seems that the camshaft sensor is more likeley the cause.
If the failure condition persists the next part to be replaced will be the crank sensor!
