ENGINE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR 850 1995

My coolant temp sensor failed at 37K which resulted in a "Check Engine" light. My service tech recommended I also replace the thermostat at the same time because he said 9 times out of 10 the thermostat will fail resulting in temp sensor fault and another Check Engine light.
