Upper Mount Bushing Again! C70 1999

RD,

I had the IPD bushing on my S70 GLT for almost two years. I switched back to the OEM because of the harshness at start-up and particularly on sudden acceleration.

The bushing is inexpensive (@$10.US) and can be replaced with a ball joint press in about twenty minutes. I had to remove the turbo-duct and clamp to fit the press.

The pros on the board have expressed some concern about possible long term effects on the engine/tranny with the poly bushing.
