Heater 855 96 ECC 850

Mr T,
I have the same problem. I just bought my 855 Turbo last week. The temp gauge hung around the 4 o'clock position. Replaced the t-stat today. Now the gauge reads perfectly, right at the 3 o'clock position. I thought that would for sure take care of the lack-of-heat problem, but it didnt'.
The driver's side works fine, the passenger side stays cool. Even the ducts underneath the front seats: driver's side hot, pass. side cool. I'm not a specialist on HVAC systems, but I'm wondering if something is wrong with the passenger side temperature control. Knob dirty? Malfunctioning? If I'm not mistaken, yours has 2 temp control knobs, right? And tell me, does your driver's side heat properly? Seems strange that my thermostat was malfunctioning AND something is wrong with the passenger side. Let's figure this one out & get it taken care of. Heated seats are nice, but a working heater system is better. jimholden1@netzero.net
