Rear wiper position V70-XC70 1998

I recently purchased a used 1998 V70 R AWD with 72K miles and noticed that the rear window wiper blade is at a 45 degree angle. When I operate the wiper it cleans the entire window -- 180 degrees from right to left then returns to the 45 degree position. When I picked up the car today at my local Volvo dealer after having the timing belt replaced, I saw another V70 R AWD in for service and noticed that the rear wiper was level with the bottom of the window. Is this something that can be adjusted? Thanks.
