most 225-45-16 require 7" rim width...volvo 16" came with 6.5" width. fenders may not rub, but if u turn the steering wheel all the way (prob doesn't even need to be all the way), it would probably hit the inside wheel well. as for 215-45-16, there are plenty, look at tirerack.com or discounttiredirect.com (they have some other brands that are really competitive in price and performance that tirerack doesn't carry)
