Congratulations! There are now two men living in your house. One is you and the other is exactly like you. Credit goes to your love and patience over the last 13 years. The younger man has made an important choice. He wants to be just like the man he admires most. There are worse decisions a teenager can make. You must be tremendously flattered. He has also displayed independent thinking, willingness to take risks, self confidence, a solid work ethic, and previously unknown upper body strength. He has just learned the consequences of leaping before looking, which will serve him well. Perhaps now he will learn the art of bolt extraction the same way the rest of us did (after an oops). And both of you working side-by-side taking care of that car you both love so much, the lines of communication between you will remain open during some very important years.
