Identified source of rattle: how to lubricate it? 850 1996

Volvo sells a silicon lubricant for the back of brake pads
to prevent brake squeel. The package labelling says it can
also be used for interior component squeeks. Odd combo, there.

Personally, I don't think lubrication would be the way to go
for interior squeeks.
